ROI Solutions Builds on Provision with New Course

News - Tuesday, 23rd February, 2016

ROI Solutions at Preston’s College has partnered with software specialist, Quadra Solutions Ltd, to deliver innovative Building Information Modelling (BIM) training programmes.

Following recent government legislation, requiring architects and building contractors to use BIM to digitise and streamline all stages of a construction project’s life cycle, the College will now be able to deliver software training to construction and engineering employers across the north of England.

The BIM initiative will be led by the College’s employer facing service ROI Solutions, designed to provide businesses with a positive ‘Return on Investment’ for companies looking to upskill its workforce.

Lee Clegg, a BIM Specialist at Quadra Solutions Ltd, said: “Through BIM, the UK construction industry is undergoing its very own digital revolution. With demand for BIM-compliant projects growing at an increasing rate, it is important for many organisations to understand how to get involved in an effective and structured way to meet the new regulations.

“It was extremely refreshing to work with ROI Solutions, as the College continues to be ahead of the game within the construction and engineering sector.  We were impressed by their enthusiasm and drive to help regional employers gain the skills and experience needed to futureproof themselves within the industry.”

Lisa Edge, head of employer engagement at ROI Solutions, added: “We’re delighted to have Quadra Solutions on board as our latest partner. Its approach towards skills delivery is very much aligned with our entire ethos and vision at the College, which is to provide businesses with the most employable workforce that possess the skills, experience and qualifications that the company and their industry wants and needs.

“Working in alliance with Quadra Solutions and its skilled team will also enable us to increase our reach across the North and access more businesses and learners than before.”
