College Apprentice Scoops NHS Award

Danielle Tomlinson, 25, an Apprentice Clinical Skills Technician employed by the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has won an NHS award recognising excellence in the workplace.

As part of her Level 2 Laboratory Operations Apprenticeship at Preston’s College, Danielle joined Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Clinical Education Team in May 2015 and assists in the provision of education to Trust employees, student nurses and undergraduate doctors.

Apprenticeship Careers Fair – Wednesday 16th March

Preston’s College is holding an Apprenticeship Careers Fair on Wednesday 16 March (1pm – 7pm), to provide 16 to 18 year-olds with the opportunity to open doors to exciting careers with major local employers.

Coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week (14-18 March 2016), the event will be attended by around 50 key employers including Leyland Trucks, Eric Wright and Virgin Trains.
